We aime to offer comprehensive and costworthy varieties of cartographical materials, predominantely maps, posters and globes. Prior to ordering please read our General Trade Conditions. We are always at customers’ disposal for best possible service.

1. An order resp. a contract becomes effective latest with delivery of the ordered products (Declaration of Acceptance), unless prior acceptance has been expressively declared by us. The electronic confirmation of an order does not constitute a declaration of acceptance.
   
   
2. Prices – Invoicing is effected at prices as per catalogue resp. price lists valid at time of ordering, subject to changes which would relieve customers from their order. Prices include VAT, lawfully valid at times.
   Orders in excess of € 100,00 will be delivered within Germany free of postage and package charges. For orders less than € 100,00 within Germany postage and package will be charged at € 6,90 . For deliveries abroad postage and package is charged for countries as listed below, while respective charges for countries not listed will be included in the order confirmation prior to delivery.

   Should the occasion arise of payment of duty by the shipment in non EU-countries have to be paid by the customer.
   
   
   
3. Right of Revocation is waived if the consignments will be damaged by receivers or otherwise improperly treated.
   
   Special designs, such as orders for special framing, laminates and the likes, are excluded from Right of Revocation.

   No refund will be issued for cancellation of the agreement during 14 days without stating a reason in written form (for example mail, fax or e-mail) or - if the goods are dedicated to the customer before expiration of this term - by returning of the goods.
   Time begins to run after receipt of this indoctrination in written form, but not before the customer's receipt of the goods (on recurrent delivery of similar goods not before receipt of the first partial delivery) and not before discharge of our duty of information according to article 246 §2 in association with §1 Abs. 1 and 2 EGBGB as well as our duties according to §312e Abs. 1 Satz 1 BGB in association with article 246 §3 EGBGB either. For keeping of the cancellation term, on time dispatch of the cancellation or the goods suffices.

   Consequences of cancellation
   In case of an effective cancellation the received services on both sides are to be refunded and, where applicable, received advantages (for example earned interest) to be issued. If the customer cannot return the received services at all, can only return the received services partially or only in debased condition, he has to, if applicable, compensate the residual value. On assignment of goods this does not apply, if the debasement is exclusively due to its inspection - as it was possible in the retail shop. In addition, you can avoid duty to the value replacement for deterioration resulting from the intended creation of matter by take the matter as your property in use and do everything which affects its value.
   Goods that are in condition for parcel shipment are being sent back at our risk. The customer has to pay the return cost, if the delivered goods conform with the ordered goods and the price of the returned goods does not exceed € 40 or if the consumer has at that time not yet reciprocated or has not yet made a partial payment as provided in the contract. Otherwise the return is free of charge for the customer. Goods that are not in condition for parcel shipment are been fetched. Commitments for payment have to be complied during 30 days. For this term time begins to run for the customer with his dispatch of the declaration of revocation, for us with its receipt.

4. Delivery – Consignments will be delivered in due time as per your requirements. Goods at stock will be delivered without undue delay, otherwise on availability from suppliers. Part deliveries are permissible without extra charge of postage. Your maps will be shipped within 2-5 working days. Doublesided maps or framed maps will be shipped within up to 10 working days. Deliveries are subject to availability especially in case of limited editions.
   Means of delivery is in our option (at present UPS Standard / DHL). If special deliveries are required additional expenses are to be borne by the customer.
   
   
5. Payment – Payments are to be effected discountless and non-returnable within 14 days upon receipt of invoice. We are allowed by the first order in excess of € 100 of payment in advance resp. payment by credit card. In case of default payment we are entitle to dunning charges in the amount of € 5,00 per dunning letter. Bank charges due to default bank collect payments are to be for customers’ account. For deliveries abroad we accept payment by credit cards of VISA, American Express and Mastercard.
   
   
6. Deficiencies – In case of deficiency in goods due to manufacture or material defaults the customer may request a substitution, as far as available, or renumeration of the purchase price. Further liabilities and claims for compensation such as but not limited to damages for detention are excluded. Deficiencies are to be claimed in writing immediately upon receipt of the consignment. Return of goods not to be effected without our prior consent and if approved by us to be effected on basis free house while postage will be refunded to customer.
   
   
7. Property Reservation – Goods remain our property until accounts receivable are fully paid. In case of default payment we are entitle to cancel the contract and request immediate return of the goods at customers’ risk and expense.
   
   
8. Place of Fulfilment & Jurisdiction – The Place of Fulfilment for all accounts receivable and Jurisdiction in case of any dispute is the city of Ahrensburg. German Law to apply.
