Details

Mount Everest is the highest mountain on earth. It measures 8,848 meters. In May 1953 Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay succeeded for the first time the ascent of the giant.

This beautiful map of Mount Everest and its surroundings was first published in 1988 with three articles. The map captivates with soft, colored shades and shows national borders, geographic details such as lakes, rivers, rocks and forests and much more. Also ruins, stone walls and houses can be seen on this map. At the bottom of the map you will find lots of interesting information as well as an explanation of Chinese, Tibetan and Nepalese terms.

A great wall map for all those who would like to take a closer look at the highest mountain in the world!
